Lech offers gentle nursery slopes, which are located beside the village centre. Long, wide, groomed blue runs are the order of the day.
Tremendous terrain for the intermediate skier. Countless opportunities open up from Lech via the central Schlegelkopf or Schlosskopf lifts. From the other side of Lech centre you can access the slopes of Zürs via the Rufikopf lift. With its amazing ski-in, ski-out location these areas offer a huge variety of blue and red runs.
The best and the most challenging off-piste skiing can be found in Lech with plenty of testing black runs and routes.
Whether you're a casual skier or a cross-country enthusiast, you'll find a variety of well-prepared tracks in Lech. For both skating and classic styles, the majority of trails are found amidst the stunning Alpine mountain landscape, alongside the river in the valley. The trails are free to use all season, too, which is a bonus.
The mountains in Lech offer an awful lot of off-piste for the more advanced skiers. Deep powder snow is in abundance here, and the 5.5km Madloch descent is the longest powder snow run in the area - it's guaranteed to leave you feeling pumped, and with fantastic views, it's one you'll want to do again and again. You could also treat yourself to some heliskiing over on the Mehlsack and Schneetäli-Orgelscharte summits.
