Run by British owners, the Palarine is a favourite for its classic style and friendly service. It’s surrounded by steep, tree-lined slopes and you can catch the bus just outside for a 5-minute ride to the main gondola and town centre.
Inside, the rooms are all contemporary with white walls, wooden floors and pops of bold red in the bedding and curtains.
Food-wise, variety is the name of the game. Start each day with a full English breakfast or a lighter bite from the buffet spread.
