What’s it like?
Until recently this was the largest fully integrated ski area in Austria, linking together the resorts of Söll, Scheffau, Ellmau, Brixen and Going, offering 279km of piste in total.
As well as having fantastic skiing for all abilities, there is a great atmosphere on the slopes with rustic cabins and covered piste-side bars. Off the mountain you can choose from the livelier resorts of Ellmau and Söll or go for a quieter, more relaxed stay in Scheffau or Westendorf.
Ellmau is an attractive resort of traditional chalet-style buildings, with nursery slopes on the doorstep, and plenty of alternative activities such as winter walking on cleared paths and cross-country skiing. It is connected to the Ski Welt circuit by a mountain railway.Ellmau ski holidays
Scheffau is one of the loveliest villages in the area. Its charming centre is only a kilometre away from the main gondola and as part of the Ski Welt circuit, Scheffau has miles of piste to explore. There's also plenty for the less adventurous, with impressive nursery slopes and a relaxed, informal après scene.Scheffau ski holidays
A long-time favourite with British skiers and boarders, Söll is a lively resort lying at the foot of the famous Hohe Salve mountain. It's the main resort in the Ski Welt and is great for groups of mixed ability skiers. Off the mountain be prepared for some lively après and varied nightlife.Söll ski holidays
