So what's it like?
A fantastic winter wonderland for both skiers and non-skiers
Offering a world of winter experiences, no other ski resort captures the spirit of a classic New England winter quite like Stowe. If you are looking for character and charm then this picturesque town with its 200 year history, combined with the ski area's state of the art facilities should be your choice. Stowe has an atmosphere which pulls skiers back time and time again to ski on Spruce Peak and Vermont's highest mountain, Mount Mansfield. The slopes are accessed from the town by a short ride on the free 'town trolly' and now Spruce Creek and Mt Mansfield are connected by a fantastic transfer gondola thus making it more effortless to switch between the two Stowe base areas.
