Verbier is a large chalet-style resort in a sunny, panoramic setting just 2 hours from Geneva airport. There are over 400kms of slopes with everything from beginner slopes to some serious mogul fields and off-piste opportunities. Verbier boasts some lovely, sunny, nursery slopes for beginners just above the village centre and on Savoleyres, with its tree-lined runs down to La Tzoumaz. New 'magic carpet' lifts have been installed in the Esserts beginner area.
