So what's it like?
A traditional alpine village, Livigno is nestled in a remote corner of Italy and offers a friendly atmosphere and a great choice of bars, restaurants and duty-free shops in the pedestrianised centre. A high altitude resort, it boasts an impressive snow record and slopes ideally suited to beginners and intermediates. The two fantastic snowparks and a lively nightlife make Livigno an attractive choice for younger visitors too.

Ski Information Beginners
A great choice for beginners, Livigno has many drag lifts serving sunny meadows near to the village, these are the perfect place to learn and improve before heading up the mountain. The good news is that because the resort is at high altitude, the snow is usually top quality even at village height.
Ski Information Intermediates
Lots of the terrain above the village is perfect for intermediates, some adventurous beginners may even make it up to the wide sunny slopes here by the end of their first week. Head above the treeline to the Carosello 3000 ski area, accessed from the southern end of the village, for a selection of exciting wide reds.
Ski Information Advanced
Advanced skiers should head to the Monte Della Neve served by the Mottolino gondola, before descending from it's 2,785m summit down either of the resort's two black runs.
