So what's it like?
Superb skiing spanning both Italy and France – an intermediate's paradise
La Thuile is an unspoilt resort which enjoys a huge ski area linked with La Rosière in France. Skiers enjoy spectacular scenery, with breathtaking views of the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Mont Blanc. La Thuile has an excellent snow record with mainly east-facing slopes, minimal queuing during the week and wide, long ski runs with skiing back to the village making La Thuile an ideal choice for all standards of skier with the added bonus of a relaxing après ski atmosphere.
Ski information
Ski Information Beginners
On their first day beginners will start on the two easy slopes, served by a travelator carpet lift at village level or on the runs at Les Suches which are located at higher level.
Ski Information Intermediates
This must be one of the most extensive areas in the Aosta Valley for intermediates. The link between La Thuile and La Rosière is by way of a chairlift at Col de la Traversette.
Ski Information Advanced
With a total of 12 black runs, 8 on the Italian side and 4 on the French, there is plenty of scope for the more experienced. Add to this some fine off-piste areas above the Piccolo St. Bérnard pass and the possibility of heli-skiing on the Rutor glacier and the better skier will relish the many challenges in this extensive area.
Nightlife
Informal and friendly atmosphere with several unpretentious bars. Try: • Kings pub • La Cage

Swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna, Turkish bath, pool tables, table tennis, cross-country skiing, buses to Aosta and Courmayeur
