So what's it like?
Two great resorts, an enormous 650km of piste and fantastic snow
Morzine ski resort is a picturesque old-style Savoyard town with an unspoilt centre, plenty of character and excellent skiing on its doorstep. It shares local pistes with neighbouring Les Gets offering lots of charming tree-lined runs, if you want to expand your skiing opportunities even more you can upgrade to a pass covering the vast Portes du Soleil area. This pass lets you ski in high altitude Avoriaz as well as heading over the border to ski in Switzerland. For families we suggest the wonderfully situated Hotel Le Viking. The mountain side location allows you to start skiing from the door, the hotel also has a newly refurbished lounge, a swimming pool and a games room to keep kids entertained.
