So what's it like?
The largest linked ski area in the world on your doorstep
Meribel is right in the centre of the Three Valleys, one of the largest ski areas in the world, making it a skier’s paradise for all levels. The resort is also blessed with two terrain parks and a competition standard half pipe. When the lifts close Meribel comes alive with live bands and lively bars open until the small hours. We also offer accommodation in the more peaceful satellite village of Meribel Village and the modern, high altitude resort of Mottaret.
Ski information
Ski Information Beginners
Beginners are well served by many gentle slopes and relaxing runs through the pine trees, including those by the Altiport and Rond Point des Pistes.
Ski Information Intermediates
Intermediate skiers will rejoice in the vast amount of long red runs, ideal for improving your skiing. The Pic Noir runs from the Col de la Loze, descending through the trees or try the excellent 5km red run down the Combe du Vallon.
Ski Information Advanced
Competent skiers will relish the off-piste challenges, powder snow, glacier skiing and steep descents through the trees. Mogul bashers should try the famous 'Les Bosses' black run, while off-piste enthusiasts can enjoy the Mt. Vallon face above Mottaret. Add to this the fast Women's Olympic Downhill run on La Face, and Meribel really has something for everyone.
