Meribel, with its superb links to Courchevel, La Tania, Val Thorens and Les Menuires, is the ideal place from which to explore The Three Valleys - one of the largest ski areas in the world. The skiing area is vast with over 600kms of runs and endless off-piste opportunities. Our accommodation is in a number of areas; Meribel, built mainly in local wood and stone, its traditional satellite village of Meribel Village and the modern, high altitude Mottaret with doorstep skiing and good après ski.

Meribel & Mottaret have a buzzing night life with bars and clubs open until the early hours · Jack's Bar, Scotts, the Doron Pub and Dicks T-Bar nightclub. Le Rond Point is renowned for its mad afternoons and daily live bands from 5-7pm.

The slopes

Beginners

Beginners are well served by many gentle slopes and relaxing runs through the pine trees, including those by the Altiport and Rond Point des Pistes.

Intermediates

(Crystal rating 5)

Intermediate skiers will rejoice in the vast amount of long red runs, ideal for improving your skiing. The Pic Noir runs from the Col de la Loze, descending through the trees or try the excellent 5km red run down the Combe du Vallon.

Advanced

(Crystal rating 4)

Competent skiers will relish the off-piste challenges, powder snow, glacier skiing and steep descents through the trees. Mogul bashers should try the famous 'Les Bosses' black run, while off-piste enthusiasts can enjoy the Mt. Vallon face above Mottaret. Add to this the fast Women's Olympic Downhill run on La Face, and Meribel really has something for everyone.
