The slopes
Beginners
The slopes are gentle, the instructors are friendly and the Lake Louise ski school offers beginners a guarantee that if you are not skiing by the end of your first day you will receive an additional lesson FREE of charge!
Intermediates
Lake Louise's four massive mountain faces mean intermediates will have the time of their lives. Everything from smooth cruising runs in the Larch area to the challenging back bowls, fantastic to ski as a mixed ability group. Sunshine Mountain is just 20 mins shuttle and offers yet more great terrain.
Advanced
Regularly covered by light Rocky Mountain powder Lake Louise has it all, from superb back bowls, one aptly named “Paradise”, to tree runs on the South Face and testing steeps in the Larch Area, advanced skiers are well catered for. Sunshine can be skied on the same pass and Kicking Horse offers the ultimate in steep and deep, well worth a days excursion.
Snowboarding
RCR Rail Park and Wilderness Adventure Park offer a world-class experience in front of the main day lodge. For freeriders the endless bowls and steep glades are exceptional.
